About James
James Vitullo is a professional, published, award-winning freelance photographer and Columbia College Chicago Alumnus (Bachelor's of Arts in Photography degree) who specializes in wedding, portrait, fine art, event, and commercial aspects.
Being a self-taught artist since eight years of age, immersing himself in this field only impacted James' career with positivity. Portraiture is a field that he dove into, and it never ceases to amaze him. Getting to know his clients is a must, especially in making each session worth every second. Making a positive impact on them means he did his job right!
"Anything is a Photograph." This is a motto developed from James' career that turned into a feasible, potential business. He specializes in candid aspects as well as in-the-moment captures. Wherever he is, he ends up with a composition worth visualizing behind the lens of his Nikon. His mind conjures up ideas that conform to the situation at hand, such as angle, framing, and potential post-processing outcomes. James' philosophy about photography is that if you are a true photographer you are a person who admires the little things in life.
